AAAtraq sponsors Team BRIT

An innovative digital accessibility compliance insuretch company, launched in 2019, has become the latest organisation to pledge support for Team BRIT.

Digital accessibility tech firm pledges support for Team BRIT

AAAtraq (www.aaatraq.com), based in London, is an automated compliance identification and management Service (CIMS), which allows organisations to understand their existing level of accessibility non-compliance risk exposure, and then work towards full compliance through a managed process. Complementary insurance—currently for US customers—with up to a US$50,000 benefit limit from global carrier BRIT adds further protection.

AAAtraq works closely with Brit Insurance, title sponsor of Team BRIT, an all-disabled racing team. The team, which aims to be the first all-disabled team to race in the Le Mans 24 hour, also supports people facing physical and psychological challenges in accessing motorsport through its Racing Academy. Having heard about Team BRIT’s work, the AAAtraq team reached out to see how it could help. Now confirmed as a 2020 sponsor, the team’s Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4, which drivers will race in this year’s Britcar Endurance Championship, will display AAAtraq branding, which can also be seen on the race suits and team shirts.

AAAtraq CEO, Lawrence Shaw said: “We believe that accessing an organisation’s website is just as much a right for someone with a disability as those without. When we learnt about this great initiative, we had to get involved. Team Brit is about supporting people with disabilities to live normally, which is the basis of digital accessibility compliance for website owners.”

Team BRIT Founder and Team Principal Dave Player confirms: “We were delighted to hear from AAAtraq, who were immediately keen to help us when they heard about our work.

“AAAtraq is delivering pioneering work in their field, having identified a real global business risk and using innovative technology to provide a solution. This ethos sits perfectly with Team BRIT. We see a challenge, we innovate and we overcome.

“2020 is set to be our best year yet as we field our biggest team of drivers in the iconic Britcar Championship, and grow our Racing Academy to welcome even more disabled people to enjoy experiences they never thought were available to them. It is with the help of partners like AAAtraq that this can happen and we are incredibly grateful for their support.”
