Remediation

Part of the Risk Management process is correcting your own website(s) 'once' and you may need help from skilled accessibility technicians. Don't jump in and start fixing things until vendors are setup in your AAAtraq program - ensure they are aware of your compliance commitment, and they are accountable.

Adding Vendors to AAAtraq

Key to removing ADA risk and financial exposure is removing the underlying problems (4 years of repeatedly fixing sites is the evidence of underlying issues).

One such issue may be those doing the work or even 'promising compliance' not being held to account - worse if they are the ones providing the reporting.

Once you have your own independent reporting (clarity from AAAtraq monitoring), you can then set about ensuring you have solid foundations in place, one of these been vendor accountability.
